Cancellation Policy for Holiday Letting
Sails Apartments adopts the following policy when dealing with the cancellation or amendment of a
holiday reservation:
- If the reservation is cancelled 28 days or more prior, or in the case of high season - 60
days or more prior, to the planned date of arrival, there will be a full refund minus a $50
administration fee.
- If the reservation is cancelled (or made and then cancelled) less than 28 days prior, or in
the case of high season - 60 days or more prior, to the planned date of arrival, there will be
no refund unless the premises are re-let for the total period of the reservation. A $50
administration fee will still apply.
- Where a reservation is made and a change is made either by a delay in arrival or an
early departure, less than 14 days prior to the planned date of arrival, there will be no
refund made unless the premises are re-let for the total period of the amendement to the
reservation.
If multiple bookings are required to fill any original reservation dates, re-letting costs such as
cleaning may be deducted from any refund.
- For 1 - 5 nights a deposit of 1 nights accommodation or 10% (whichever is greater) will confirm a reservation
- For 6+ nights a deposit of $300 will confirm a reservation
- A deposit from $350.00 to $500.00 will confirm a reservation for peak season – Christmas,
New Year and Easter.
The
balance of the tariff is due on arrival (or other time if prior arrangement made). A
reservation that has not been confirmed by a deposit being paid is not guaranteed.
